    • 1) How do I make changes to the pre-made templates?
      You are able to change images embedded in the template, although some knowledge of HTML and CSS will be required. Through using the “custom CSS” area (found under the “Site Design” tab) you can change the images that make up your template.

      The "images" folder for the templates are stored outside of Webation Active (they are not visible to you), so if you want to add more images, create a new folder on your desktop and fill it with the images you need. Then zip it and upload it into the "Userdata" folder in the "Template Upload" page (inside the "Site Design" tab). When writing the CSS use the following as an example of the file structure required when inserting URL’s:

      .header { background-image: url(userdata/newimages/new_header.jpg); }

      Because you do not have access to the template's HTML, you can't upload a new stylesheet. But you can override the pre-made CSS using the "Custom CSS" page, it will add a file called "custom.css" (in the Template Upload section).

      There are many things you can change and control by using CSS. You can see the current CSS styles that are used in the template by using “Firebug” extension for Firefox to examine the code – click on the "Preview the home page in a new window" on the Custom CSS page (inside the "Site Design" tab).

      2) Can I change my template at any time?
      Yes, you can choose one of the templates from the Template Gallery at anytime. This will not affect your Live site until you publish in Webation Active.

      3)
      Will I lose information if I change my template?
      No, all your content that you created within Webation Active will remain unchanged.
